Chinese phone maker Gionee Communication Equipment Co. on Tuesday unveiled its latest smartphone, the Marathon M5, which consists of a battery that the company claims gives up to 62 hours of call time.
This is the second launch by the company in two months after its premium flagship model Elife E8 as it attempts to increase its 4% share of the Indian smarphone market. Other Chinese firms Xiaomi Corp., and OnePlus, are also aggressively eyeing the Indian market.
